7 Quick Apply Part-time 21 hours ago Full Job Description Volunteer Transportation Specialists deliver life-saving blood products from Red Cross distribution facilities to hospitals, using a Red Cross-owned vehicle.
We need you to commit to 2-4 shifts per month (or more if you can!).
Typical shifts are about 4 hours.
Transportation routes can be done alone or with a friend.
Transport blood from collection site to Red Cross laboratory Transport finished blood or blood products to hospital customers as routine or stat deliveries Pick up empty boxes from hospitals as necessary Deliver supplies to blood collection sites as needed Complete required paperwork and obtain signatures as necessary Communicate with Red Cross staff on feedback from customers or any urgent issues Drive in a safe and responsible manner as a representative of the American Red Cross.
You'll also need to meet these important
Qualifications:
Have a valid state driver's license and proof of insurance Have 3 years driving experience and a clean driving record Can lift up to 45 lbs.
Ability to follow safety protocols and directions consistently and thoroughly.
